The Institut de Formation Carbone & Durabilité (IFC-D) is a leading European training institute created in July 2011 and specialising in climate and energy issues.
The IFC-D has since become a key player in carbon accounting training in France.
The IFC-D's mission is to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to integrate energy, climate, and environmental considerations into their strategies, thereby bringing tangible added value to their organizations. To achieve this goal, the IFC-D offers a range of targeted and innovative training courses and draws on a network of nearly 30 of the best trainers on the market, each of whom has led dozens (or even hundreds) of assignments as a service provider and trained hundreds of people on energy/climate issues and Bilan Carbone®.
One of the pillars of IFC-D's offering is training in the Bilan Carbone® methodology, a comprehensive set of methods and tools for assessing the carbon footprint (scope 1, 2, and 3) of organizations, projects, or products. This method enables organizations to identify their sources of emissions, quantify their carbon footprint, and implement effective reduction strategies.
IFC-D provides both introductory and advanced training modules, ensuring that participants gain a thorough understanding of the methodological and technical principles, enabling them to be as operational as possible.
IFC-D's commitment to the quality of its services is reflected in its Qualiopi certification, which attests to its compliance with strict criteria in terms of teaching quality.
Finally, thanks to a permanent team and its network of expert trainers, IFC-D continues to diversify its offering and expand its reach by offering training sessions in France and internationally.
